I have seen Kali about 3 times now, and she didn’t disappoint before but.. I was disappointed… the show was too short (she was the main act aka HER TOUR!). She didn’t play a lot of her recent songs from her TWO recent albums. She used the same set-up/lineup of songs from Coachella 2023 and basically the same set as the Tyler the Creator tour last year. She tried to make it up by singing 2-3 acapella songs but that will not make up the changes she’s making now moving forward with her tour. It was subpar. I will look forward to her next tour but she needs to plan it a little better.

Ok so this is in no way a bad reflection of the artiest who performed. Raye is amazing Live such soulful energy and very relatable backstories from both artist and the hits!!! Kali really went off with her some of her best hits.
Now Amphitheatre, check yourself. I was told by security to go to my seat even tho where I was standing no one else was sitting aside from just being 5 steps in front of my actually concert seat. Right after I was asked to move 4 girls sat and stood right where I was. (Not their seats either they were just the right skin color) yes I’m pulling that card because I sat there and watched them allow every single person stand and basically sit wherever they wanted but because I was alone and black they asked me to move. My view of the concert was blocked because of this and security walked passed the group multiple times and said nothing to them. Also the concert goers were extremely immature and aimless. Asking me and a couple of other black girls I met at the concert if they /we were in the right seat instead of asking security where their seats actually were, almost policing the joint as if they were entitled to be wrong ! It was very frustrating for me and felt racist and tacky. Beautiful outdoor venue security leave the discriminatory vibes at home next time.
